He has better sounding productions on his albums than anyone!
He is not a satanist. He doesn't believe in God or Satan. He is open for the possibility of hell, and excepts his place if he (in his own words) belongs there.
He is one of the best interviews! He answers sharp, intelligent, and to the point.
I don't agree with his jadedness, and lack of any hope, but being somewhat gothic myself, I do recognize where the frustration he and his followers feel, comes from.
The idea rock music should be controversial, "he gets it!"
He is a rock star.
M.M. was asked what would he say to the kids and parents of Columbine after the shootings there? M.M. said "I would not say anything,............I would just listen to what they had to say."
He is not the enemy of god, he is a creation with a free will, and a media destraction when there is something major going on in the world that the government wants to draw attention away from.
The enemy of god is the trusted youth pastor who molest children.

Fathers and such
Well you can tell the album is finished and most of the summer festivals are over, because I am writing so often.
I wanted you guys to send me stories and comments about fathers.
No I have never been a parent, I think I am still too young, but some of you who are younger than me, have babies out there.
My father was great when I was a pre teen, but it seemed like as he was getting older (i could be wrong) he started acting strange. He started to yell at and beat my mother, he started to physically abuse me, and sexually abused my two sisters. Basically we all took it as long as we could and then fought him collectively and independently situation by situation.
My dad played guitar and sang nightly after he would leave work, my family was in the steel business, but music was his obvious passion. He could never take the time to try and make it in music because he had a steel plant to run, and 3 small kids to raise, a home, a wife and all the trimmings.
My father is handsome and physically built like a stone, he is strong, intelligent and women love him......but he does not seem to be a rational thinker.....his actions seem reactionary to something the rest of us do not see, he seems to be on the defense as he is offending everyone in the room.
He now lives alone and I go see him every couple of years, stay only a few hours, tell him I love him and go away......................and i do not know why.
Feel free to write and comment:

The best drummer I ever knew
There was this guy who played with every big band around, did tours, traveled abroad, made records.......who was just an amazing drummer.
The first time i kicked him out of my band was after an important show, at an important club when he was knocked out in a drunken fist fight with our then road manager. He told people the entire band jumped him, because he really did not remember how he got so beat up, but it was just the one guy who knocked his ass out.
The next time i kicked him out of my band was when our drummer broke his hand playing pool of all things and we needed a fill in drummer, to play an 8,000 in attendance arena show in Prague "big gig for us!" We flew him in and he played great, but then went on a three day binge with my girlfriends father, tried to have his way with my girlfriend, and then passed out ,pants down on the toilet not to be moved by any of the house guests we were entertaining for.
The third and final time I kicked him out of my band was at a festival in which we were to play at 9 p.m. but he had been drinking since yesterday and had not even what you would call a nap. He made an ass out of himself in front of the crowd while setting up equipment, picking fights with fans, insulted his girlfriend who loves him dearly, and was hitting on my girlfriend and business partner. He then begged me for coke, due to my past connections, which he got mad at me for not hooking him up, and which he later found some anyway. So while on stage, he played like shit, and then I noticed the beat beginning to change drastically and then stop.
(clearing my throat)
Now we are a professional underground band that has moved multi thousands of copies of our demo recordings and just recorded an amazing piece of rock and roll, "COUNTRY METAL our album", the fans have certain expectations, beyond that of some local band.......
"dude is turned around during a song blowing chunks off the drum riser." Now it would have been one for the history books if he would have kept playing, and played well while vomitting....that is rock and roll. So I replaced him and he keeps writing and calling me.
I love this guy like a brother, and he has all the potential in the world, but time is no longer his friend and he is an alcoholic who does not believe you when you tell him what he did and how he acted while drinking. He wants to be, and has the ability to be a professional drummer but he just will not do it.
Everyone feel free to write me with your feelings on this guy, and what I should say to him.
by the way: It is common knowledge that I drink too much and there was one dark year where substance abuse destroyed what I was trying to do musically......you see "we are selfish"...because at that time I was not only killing my dreams, but the musical dreams of the people around me too. So yes I struggle too but you got to put your game face on do your art, and go to work. People´s families rely on what I do on that stage.

How is it possible that a Christian singer can drink alcohol, do women, sing in a rock band and play the devils music, all while causing harm to the kingdom of God, and still call himself a Christian?
This is a question or a series of questions rolled into a run-on that I get hit with on a regular basis:
My name is Bryan W. Bande singer in a rock band.
First, I don´t drink as much as I use to and it is a daily struggle to not be wasted by 10:00am.
Wow, I bet you never heard many Christians claim to have such a complex problem and still claim to be saved. Well being saved doesn´t keep me from chemical dependancy. I am spiritually healed but my body still wants drugs and alcohol. I have managed to quit drugs cold turkey for years at the time, and currently I have been clean in that department for quite some time. Alcohol is a daily struggle, I recently went 8 days with out any and felt relatively normal, but that is the exception and not the rule. First I do everything in my power to not pick it up and put it to my face, Second i freely admit i have a problem, Third I pray for help and guidance multiple times a day. I use to worry that this would kill my potential for ministry, really! It was just recently I figured out this is my ministry.....getting honest with myself and others.
People lie for many reasons, addicts lie even more, but Christian addicts feel compelled to lie even more often than anyone. The Christian addict lies to family to maintain the good name, or family reputation, "not a problem in my case". Then the Christian addict lies to the spiritual establishment, his fellow church members, his pastor, his ministorial followers or the people he influences on a daily basis. He must also lie to the legal establishment, just as any addict would. Often
the addictive behavior jumps into other areas of his or her life, which is quite often made public in the lives of T.V evangelists. I have always been a rock musician even before my conversion to Christianity, my authentic behavior is what gives my music and my message credibility. I can be trusted because I have lived it, and still struggle just like you....and you just like me!
Women: I am constantly surrounded by beautiful women.......I have enjoyed celebrating my hetreosexuality since I can remember, and quite a few people on the religious right have never gave me a problem about it, or at least until it was their daughter, or their girlfriend. I have never felt conviction about my behavior, but I don´t condone sex or drugs or alcohol, due to the possibilities of harmful consequences. I have been praying for clarity and insight concerning things of a sexual nature......and the actual bible verses to back it up. Praying for conviction as it were?!
Let me interject with a comment on the weaker brother principal.........if our behavior will cause our brother to stumble, we should stop going to Vegas, and fast food establishments!
Devil's Music:
After meeting multitudes of industry insiders.............."you got me!" Rock-n.Roll is the devil's music......hahaha
No, seriously Music is a spiritual thing, that is why it makes us feel sad or happy or anything the writer may or may not of wanted us to feel. Studies have been done on the healing effects of music, and the influence of aggressive music before a big game. Is my music Church music? No! Is it religious music? No! Is it spiritual? Yes! My music is made to relate, to question, to challenge, and to bring about change whether internal or external is up to the listener. Art should always be left to the imaginative interpretation of the listener or viewer.
My point: be real! It is a hard thing to do but just keep trying! - B.W.Bande

Hey everyone!
In less than one years time, Live-n-Breathe finished the album!
The album is called "Country Metal" I think that is a perfect title for a southern hard rock band's album.
We tried to capture that entire G-n-R meets Sknyrd, with my dose of glam rock splattered on it. Yes a hockey player screaming glam rock over "alter bridge" and "velvet revolver" riffs! " Kinda kidding!
We have been getting a lot of "buck cherry" and "bad religion" comparisons......not bad.
"Country Metal" is available now online: and will be in retail shops globally beginning September 27, 2007!
Enjoy, and feel free to hit my blog spot.....!

The Roanoke gig at the Green Dolphin
Small club "big gig!"
L-n-B opened the show and blew everyone away............the closing band was "TON" and it was the headliners CD release party! TON was awesome! The after party even better!
L-n-B was dark loud and overwhelming,
definitely one in the Win column!
Joel S./ press dept. C.M.R.
The following gig at "grubstock"
was a litlle out of control.........it was raw and ugly..........Bryan W. Bande sang some songs completely acapella, which seemed to have a hypnotic effect on the crowd. Heat and alcohol was a factor for all in attendance, like at any festival moments of heaven and hell!
call this one "thank god that it happened, and everyone survived!"

In respect to age?
Almost everybody lies about their age.
-FAKE I.D.?
-Little old church ladies?
-Female teenage music fans?
Many entertainers are told they must lie from a very early age, due to a youth hungry culture of consumers.
I fell into the trap a few years ago myself when signed to a major label in a foreign market, with a name and age change, and "I am not an old guy!" That arrangement did not last long by the way.
I discovered to conceal my age by just not telling........WHY?
BECAUSE:
Older fans and critics think you are too young and you dont`know sh.t about life, and you are too young to have experienced anything worth writing about.
The younger fans think anyone over 21 has not a lot to say that can relate to them, and how can someone 20 something understand what they are going through?
"So Live-n-Breathe.....does not disclose our ages"
We started as teenagers and been going ever since!
Thanks - Bryan W. Bande

Why have your band members changed from time to time?
9 times out of 10.......Because, people lack the dedication they think they have in the beginning, but they do not have the balls to finish, a project, a tour, sometimes even an album or a gig.
It does not mean they are bad people, it just means they are not cut out for the music business.
Imagine you are a great high school football player, and you can score a touch down every time you touch the ball, but it is not convient for you personally to wear a helmet, and you do not like football pads either. Most importantly "you do not want to be part of a team." Yes you could be a football star, you have the tools, the looks, and the skills, but you will not bend outside of your comfort zone and wear equipment, or even care for your team-mates so the team says goodbye to you. Same thing in bands. Guys quit bands everyday because they think they are in love with a girl who breaks up with them shortly after they left the band. Or they want a financial back up plan, or they miss their mommy, or they want their life to stay so small that they control every decision around them.
Everybody says they are in it for the long hall, what they really mean is "dude make me a star immediately with no real effort on my part, beyond what i feel like doing, keep me in my comfort zone, and spell my name right on the check!"

Am I Goth?
I am always asked if I am Goth?
To be a hard rock/country metal band L-n-B has a large Goth following....and that is freakin the best!
I wear black mostly, dye my hair black, and I do like johnny cash, him, and papa roach.....and everything about vampire folklore.
But very much like johnny cash...i believe i can stop wearing black when the world is a brighter place.....
Also i think the best way to reach people for eternal life.....is by reminding them of the reality of the grave.
"And yes, the dark is afraid of me!"
